Art of the Absurd: July 13-17, Ages 9-12

In this camp, students will explore humor, confusion, surprise, and delightful failure through the language of visual and performance art. Drawing inspiration from the absurd, participants will experiment with a wide range of media and processes—including sculpture, drawing, painting, collage, puppetry, and theatre arts. Through playful exploration and creative risk-taking, students will create imaginative artworks and performances that challenge expectations and embrace the unexpected. Parents and friends are invited to an end-of-week showcase celebrating the wonderfully absurd creations.
