Soft: July 6-10, Ages 6-10

This materials- and process-based camp invites students to explore all things soft. Working with fabrics, yarn, wool, felt, cotton, soft pastels, and found materials from nature, participants will experiment with texture, touch, and form. Through hands-on exploration, students will create a variety of artworks—including weavings, soft sculptures, prints, drawings, and “soft paintings.” Emphasizing curiosity and creative play, this camp encourages students to discover how gentle materials can be transformed into expressive works of art.
